Consumption of  Edible Birds Nest.

Should you only consume Edible Birds Nest in bed with your feet elevated?  How about only consume in early dawn before the sun rises? Cách Chưng Yến – (chưng cách thủy)

Khoảng 3 tai Yến (miếng), ngâm nước lạnh một đêm, xé cho tơi ra dọc theo sớ của tai Yến, xả bỏ vài ba nước, vớt Yến lên cho ráo nước. Cho Yến vào thố, đường phèn, 1 lát sâm 3 chén nước lọc, đậy nắp thố lại cho vào nồi chưng cách thủy 25 phút lửa cao. Tắt lửa lấy ra, chờ nguội, quậy đều đường, cho vào tủ lạnh.

 

Cách  Dùng

Khoảng 5 muỗng canh ban đêm trước khi ngủ. Hoặc sáng sớm lúc bụng đói.  Dùng trong vòng 1 tuần.

 

Cooking Instructions

Soak 3 pieces in a bowl of cold water for 5 hrs or overnight.  Remove & discard soaking water. Shred each piece length wise, rinse over running water using a strainer.  Put the nests, rock sugar, ginseng in the white cooking pot & fill with 2 - 3 cups of drinking. Place the white pot inside the stock pot with 3 inches water surrounding it & cover the lid. Cook over high heat for 25 mins. Once cooled, ready to eat or place in the refrigerator.
